The Citizens Archive of Pakistan (CAP) has announced an exciting career opportunity for the position of Assistant Manager OHP to join its Research and Archiving Team in Karachi.
The selected candidate will play a key role in documenting Pakistan's oral histories through interviews, transcription, and fieldwork while supporting the research, digitisation, and archiving of historical materials. The role also involves cataloguing interviews and photographs, managing archival metadata, contributing to CAP's digital archive, and collaborating with project partners to help preserve diverse historical narratives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in History, Journalism, Anthropology, Sociology, Communication, Public Policy, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred; however, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Urdu.
